From image acquisition to display and presentation, Sony offers a range of purpose-designed 3D products that help clinicians capture, store and share 3D medical content in a wide range of application areas.
3D for ultrasound
Consultants can view 3D ultrasound images via Sony’s LMD-3251MT, HMS-3000MT and LMD-2451MT Full HD 3D Medical Monitors. Real-time High Definition 3D ultrasound images can also be captured and stored using the HVO-3000MT 3D HD Video Recorder for analysis, archive and sharing.
3D for endoscopic surgery
Stereoscopic images from 3D endoscopic camera systems can be viewed by surgeons and OR staff using the LMD-3251MT and LMD-2451MT Full HD 3D Medical Monitors. They can also be stored on hard disk of the HVO-3000MT 3D HD Video Recorder or shared via removable media or network server for consultation and training purposes.
3D for surgical microscopy
3D images from surgical microscopy can be captured by the MCC-3000MT 3D Full HD Medical Video Camera and viewed by clinicians on Sony’s LMD-3251MT and LMD-2451MT Full HD 3D Medical Monitors. They can also be stored on the HVO-3000MT 3D HD Video Recorder or shared via removable media or network server for consultation and training purposes.
3D for education and training
Live surgical images can be viewed remotely in a consulting room or training suite on 3D-capable BRAVIA professional displays including the [non-medical] FWD-55X8600P and [non-medical] FWD-65X8600P, or via a choice of 3D projectors to suit any size of room. Students and lecturers can also review video footage that has been captured during surgery using the MCC-3000MT 3D Full HD Medical Video Camera and stored to Blu-ray Disc™ or USB removable memory with the HVO-3000MT 3D HD Video Recorder.
3D content can be prepared for sharing at lectures and conferences with [non-medical] Vegas™ Pro, Sony’s professional video production environment that includes a range of powerful yet easy to use 3D editing tools
